Thank you to all of our 2017 Presenters! We value your time and expertise and understand that when you present at the Summit, you are sharing more than your knowledge.  For that reason, we waive the registration fee for all LEAD presenters on the day of your workshop presentation, and offer you a reduced, single day presenter registration fee of $100/day for any day that you attend the Summit but aren’t presenting.  This entitles you to all food included in the registration fee that day, as gives you the ability to attend workshops and earn professional development credits yourself.  In addition, up to one co-presenter is eligible for a reduced co-presenter rate of $55 for any day that they are co-presenting in a workshop.

  • The Summit provides Act 48 and DHS credits to attendees that request them.  Presenters are asked to facilitate this process and are provided with the needed sign-in sheets, evaluations and instructions.
  • To maximize the amount of space available, the majority of rooms at the Summit will be set theater style.  There are a very limited number of rooms that will be set classroom style, providing attendees with a writing surface.  If you feel that your workshop would be delivered best with with this room set, please make sure to contact Karen Grimm-Thomas to find out if this is possible.  You can reach her at
  • All Summit rooms are equipped with a flip chart, dry erase board & markers, a screen, a power source and a head table for materials. Because of the large number of concurrent workshops (up to 25 at any given Session time!) and high rental costs, Summit rooms will NOT have laptop, projectors or audio equipment.  Presenters who wish to use a power point presentation will need to provide their own laptop, projector and speakers.  If you need information about renting equipment directly from the Conference Center, Karen Grimm-Thomas ( can provide you with contact information for Penn Stater staff that can assist you.

To help us ensure that we are prepared for everyone, ALL presenters and co-presenters are required to register for the Summit and let us know when you will be on-site, even if you only plan on being present for your own presentation.

Starting September 1, presenters and co-presenters will receive an email with the discount codes.
