Her education philosophy is grounded on play-based learning with an emphasis on social emotional development. Prerna is passionate about sharing the latest brain development research, that not only is helpful for the childrens’ developing brains but also the caregivers who are educating them.
Prerna is an engaging and dynamic keynote speaker, behavior coach and NAEYC consultant. Prerna has given many presentations impacting 1000’s of educators annually.
Prerna is the recipient of the Susan Hargrave Trainer of the Year award 2020 + Registered master trainer with Texas State Early Childhood Trainer Registry. From 2012-2016, Prerna was the President & Board Member of the Dallas Association Education of Young Children (DAEYC). Recipient of the Outstanding Leadership & Inspiration Award, Mi Escuelita Preschool in June 2010 + May 2008. Nominee, Margaret Cone Award + National Association Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Member Spotlight Prerna enjoys spending time with her husband of almost 40 years, children and 4 grandchildren. Prerna loves to travel, teach and practice meditation, and spend time out in nature. |
Stacy Benge, M.S.Stacy Benge is an early childhood speaker who approaches learning in the early years with practicality and common sense. Standing firm on the truth that children learn best through simple, authentic experiences, Stacy advocates for child-led play to build solid foundations for child development.
In addition to a Master of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Stacy spent 10 years in the early childhood classroom teaching children ages birth to five. As she has for the past 20 years, Stacy shares her passion for child development with fellow early learning professionals with enlightening and informative presentations.
Stacy is the author of The Whole Child Alphabet: How Children Actually Develop Literacy published by Exchange Press.
